The fashion of Giving

Yes, People change the way they want it. One thing I prove that in my beloved friend, boss, teacher and my brother. For 2 years I've studying in this institution so many unforgettable things happen; something that we will never forget. This day seems i really smell the Christmas season because of Christmas part, gift, and love that everybody imparted in us. Di'ba sounds so good but you think of it It sounds miraculous why? because of change.
I never thought that my boss will give me a Christmas presence kasi hindi na man siya ganong tao ehhhhh, hindi mahilig magbigay but he is very kind and very understanding and very patient in us even though we have so many unnecessary things in terms of work and services that we lend.
Pero hindi man yon basis para magalit siya sa amin
And take note he gave me a birthday presence, I am very happy talaga kasi yong hinihingi ko kay God automatically he gave it through kay Sir..
God is good all the time.
And I am very existed sa aming Gumasa trip this saturday, hope nothing will happen to us.

"The Art of Letting Go"

To "let go" does not mean to stop caring. It means I cant do it for someone else.
To "let go" is not to cut myself off. It's the realization that I can't conttol another.
To "let go" is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands, but in Gods.
To "let go" is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To "let go" is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being, as we all sin.
To "let go" is not to be in the middle, arranging all the outcomes, but to destinies.
To "let go" is not to deny. but to accept. To "let go" is not to nag, scold, fuss or argue; but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them, To "let go" is not to adjust everything in my desires, but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.
To "let go" is not to regret the past, but to live for today and grow for the future.
To "let go" is not to regret the past, but to live for today and grow for the future. To "let go" is to fear less and to love more.

Healing a Broken Heart – The key is trust

Our human tendency is to avoid painful situations, even burying them. Can we ever trust those who hurt us so deeply? There are steps to healing a broken heart.
Release – “. . . First forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against . . .” (
Mark 11:25). Lori chose to let go of past hurts. Years later her nephew (Dawn and Leo’s son) was married. Lori recalls, “My bad experience had driven a wedge between two families. Miraculously, when I forgave Leo, the wedding brought everyone together and healthy relationships were created.”
Refocus – “. . . By [God’s] mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope” (
Ephesians 3:20). Initially, Louise punished herself for not being more protective. She tried to keep her broken heart hidden from everyone. She shares, “Guilt and shame clouded my perspective. As our daughter and I openly discussed the incident, we helped other victims and now readily see positive results in their lives.”
Receive – “[God] comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us” (
2 Corinthians 1:4). Last year, Yvonne gave birth to a handsome baby boy. “We may never understand the reason we had to endure such heartbreak. Gradually, the emptiness is now being filled with Daniel’s toddler antics.” David and Yvonne will receive their nursing degrees this year. “We want to help others through hard times.”

Healing a Broken Heart – There is a reason

Healing a Broken Heart – There is a reasonOnce there was a young man who proclaimed to have the most beautiful, flawless heart. An old man challenged him. The crowd looked at the old man’s heart. It was beating strongly, but full of scars. Some pieces had been removed and others had been put in, but didn’t fit quite right. The old man looked at the young man, “I would never trade my heart for yours. Every scar represents a person I’ve given my love -- I tear out a piece and give it to them. Sometimes they give me a piece of their broken heart, which I fit along jagged edges. When the person doesn’t return my love, a painful gouge is left. Those gouges stay open, reminding me that I love these people too. Perhaps someday they will return and fill that space.” We would never choose to have a broken heart! The agony and recovery time is just too unbearable. There is Someone, however, who had a flawless heart and chose to have it broken. Medically when a heart ruptures (breaks) water gushes out (John 19:33-34). In every way, Jesus experienced a broken heart. He understands betrayal, temptation, and loss (Isaiah 53:3; Luke 22:33-34; Matthew 14:10-13). He is our Comforter, Counselor, and Companion who fills our heart’s empty spaces.

Healing a Broken Heart – Is there hope?Is there hope for healing a broken heart? Something or someone has just broken your heart. You were caught off-guard by a betrayal, a shocking behavior, or loss of a loved one. Suddenly you are feeling like you’ve lost all hope . . . you can feel a physical aching in your chest that leaves you wounded and scarred. How can you ever hope to recover or discover what steps will end this suffering? We all know that emotions are a vital part of the way we are made. Yet we can’t understand why it takes so long to heal from emotional injuries. We would never prematurely remove a cast or sutures until the broken bone or skin was fully restored. We must realize complete emotional healing requires time. The book of Psalms offers great comfort when experiencing long-term emotions like sadness, fear, and grief. “He heals the brokenhearted, binding up their wounds” (
Psalm 147:3). Are some circumstances beyond healing? What about these situations:
In the beginning, Dawn and Leo’s marriage seemed so secure. Then alcohol and Leo’s advances towards his sister-in-law, Lori, resulted in a bitter divorce.
Louise wept uncontrollably as her daughter recounted her molestation as a child.
After Dave and Yvonne’s second miscarriage, they severed all relationships that reminded them of their two lost sons.

Holy Spirit rain down

Holy Spirit, rain down, rain down
Oh Comforter and Friend
How we need Your touch again
Holy Spirit, rain down, rain down
Let Your power fall
Let Your voice be heard
Come and change our hearts
As we stand on Your word
Holy Spirit, rain down

No eye has seen, no ear has heard
No mind can know what God has in store
So open up heaven, open it wide
Over Your church and over our lives

Favorites

My Favorite Author and Book

"Don’t judge a book by its cover.”

We all know that life is full of surprises, like a book every page has its own meanings but what’s important is its content. The content defines what is really meant by the author. Book is where we can get information; inspirational, moral lessons and learning’s that can help you develop your intellectual and emotional aspect. I’m not really reading a lot of books, but since I’ve been taking this course I learned to love books. Now I realized the importance of books. My favorite author is no other than Bo Sanchez. His books are full of inspirations about life with God. I read his books since I start my tertiary level. He inspires a lot of people who are experiencing trials and burdens in life. He shares a lot of testimonies happened in his own life that has great impact to us. He wrote several books about his life experiences. He finds life very interesting and full of challenges. He has a happy family with two handsome sons. He is now living in Manila and continuing to inspire people through his writings and ministries.

Bo Sanchez has strong faith in God. Among his works are How to find your one true love and your past does not define your future. These two books are among my favorites. Bo Sanchez also writes for magazine entitled “Kerygma” it contains stories of faithful souls in the body of believers. I really love being inspired by others because through this I become strong and have enough strength to face challenges that God set for me. Another favorite book is “Your past does not define your future”. It talks about taking our journey as our pilgrimage is not yet over. Our beautiful future waits because our past does not define our future. This book contains good stories about life, the experiences and learning. It also about Bo’s own experiences in life, the book signifies that no one can determine the future. What happens in the past does not define our future; I found myself contentment in reading Bo Sanchez books.

Getting to know me better!

About me: Christine Joyce Estimo

“Things May change, but not the real me”

By the way, its my pleasure to write about me….my life, my weaknesses, my inspiration and my pleasant moments in life. I’m Christine Joyce Estimo, my friends call me “joyce” sometimes or just call me “tin2x” for short; I’m already 19 years old, and enjoying my life. I’m living with my happy, supportive, loving and caring family. Somebody said I am a spoiled brat but it’s not true. We are currently living in Polomolok, South Cotabato. I have two brothers and four sisters. I’m so lucky and honored to have very supportive brothers and sisters. Just like the plants, they can’t grow without the presence of light and water.

Nineteen years of striving and keeping me abreast of what’s going on, my faith in God is my strongest assets in life. I am thankful and blessed with many things that made me become a stronger person. I have my three main weaknesses: First, is God, now I’m entering in spiritual maturity and following all of His laws. I enjoy being accompanied by Him. I am blessed because He gave me grace, to have a chance to send myself to school. That is one of the best things that happen to my entire life. Everything will happen according to His will and plans. Each one in this world, God has set a beautiful and wonderful plan. It only strengthened our faith in Him. Secondly, My Family, They are my companions when I am experiencing trials and barriers in my life. The great thing is, we work and help each other, respect and understanding are important to us. I live and continue striving for goals and studies. I set them also as my Inspirations. Third, are my friends and special persons around me! Generally, I value every person that comes into my life, not only in actions but also inside of my heart.

Nevertheless, I am a person full of imagination. I am always faithful to God and ready to serve Him and my family. I also enjoy my dance group because through dance I can really express myself. I really love to dance. I joined a dance group called “THE FALEH” ( Filipino Art Lover of Ethnic Heritage). I was one of the members of that group. We performed different dances which were ethnic, pop, cheer dance, interpretative, and dance sports. High school life is the most enjoyable moment of my entire life. I experience meeting people from other places. I’ve learned their culture too much as I expected. High school graduation day was somewhat sad because that day will be the last day for us to perform a dance to our school. For our performances, we were awarded as the “Best Performers of the Year”.

Now, I currently studying and pursuing my dreams, at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, a prestigious university here in General Santos City. I’m taking up Bachelor of Science in Library Information Science (BSLIS). I’m now on my 2nd year. It’s hard because at the same time I’m working in this institution as Grant In- Aid (GIA). After two years of separation from my friends, I still missed our unforgettable moments. Now that I’m in tertiary level, I want to focus on my academics aspect and lie low in my co– curricular activities. I love reading books, something that really inspired me I can get moral lessons about life. I am a music lover. Sometimes, I choreograph my own steps, because dancing is my hobby in our house. Every morning I exercise with a group in our place, called “TIBO”. Now I am serving God in our church, and one of the officers their. I’m helping them improve our church. Now I can proudly say that I am a certified Christian. My mom doesn’t really want me to go church of other religion but I keep on praying that she will support me on what I want to do in my life. It’s difficult but I’m trying to pursue it. Through the help also of our Creator, I know that day will come.

Thank God, I really enjoy my new chapter in my life. I really believe that “Life is like a Rosary, that’s full of Mystery”. Hope you like reading this. And thank you for the time you spent to read things about me….I find it interesting to write about my life. I hope you find also God in your life. That’s all.

Learining Web 2.0 Environment

Learing Web 2.0 is very easy if you know the concepts of the Application. As Ms. Lyna Estabillo our teacher, taught us. The first thing that comes in my mind is how can be creative? using this Environment; as our lesson go further until it finish, now I understand and I find it very interesting.
It was March 5, 2009 when we have an hands - on to apply learnings in Web 2.0. I thought need to be teach all the times before we learn, buy the realization comes that learning is individual nature. We add a gadget to our blogs to make it beautiful and creative, following the steps by step procedure is very easy. Putting videos and slideshows are only those we do. We also taught us, how to connect added information from the other website. We just click and click to add it, we find also difficult in loading the site because of the server, but of course if not we finish it easily. Patience is being valued to this.
I expect I could learn much more to share to other. And explore more in using those application. As what I've said that learning is individual nature, we need to take action to apply our learning it is not just only in discussing but also in taken action. I can express my own creativity and make it beatiful through these.

Word for day

2 Timothy 1:8-9 NIV

"So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life - not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time..."

complicated

I found myself today on the hanging ground of a tree, with lack of determination and a selfreliance to be able to overcome it. There is a lot of things happened this past few days, i've been experiencing a complicated things that i really to think of it. Now, i do not know how to begin this testimoniy all i want to do is to start with, in connection about them, "basta its very complicated".
What i can say is that i do things which is good but it is not enough to get through, well that's life i really to admit it. I do not know how can i be manage this cruelness but still have to move on it.
I want to help my closefriend who was experiencing a problem right know but still she was holding on and showing determination to face those trials in her life. Dont you know that she was scolded by her mother and trying to "palayason" in their house, she cried and cried about what happened, i really felt loneliness and wala akong magawa for her, even me i dont know what i am going to do. One thing i adviced her is get in the place where she can find peace and can think deep for that problem. Now she was showing her best to be brave i know it was so hard but she tried. It so very complicated that was the biggest problem that a friend share to me. Im glad that she was so kind and very humble for all the things that we shared, right now she even know think about what will be going to happen tomorrow basta she knows that God is always in her back and comfort her.
Now, im waiting for the result. I hope and i pray that she will be guided by our Creator. God!

Spiritual journey in the Love of God

God has given us His Holy Spirit so that we can experience intimacy with Him and enjoy all He has for us.
These key verses describe our relationship with God…
-You cannot live the Christian life in your own strength (Galatians 3: 3)
-As you walk in the Spirit, you have the ability to live a life pleasing to God (Galatians 5:16, 25)
-As you walk in the Spirit, you experience intimacy with God and all He has for you (Galatians 5: 22-23)
-By faith, you experience God's power through the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 3: 16-17) Feelings about God may change from time to time. However, the promises of God's Word in the Bible– not feelings – are the basis of confidence.

The Christian lives by faith (trust) in God Himself and His Word. Focus on Jesus and His loving forgiveness. Trust the promise of God's Word, the Bible, not feelings. Receiving Christ begins a life long relationship with Him. The Bible refers to this as Eternal Life--begin to know God in this life, and continue in relationship with Him in the next. "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5: 17). Just like a seed in the ground cannot grow without water and sunshine, neither can we grow in our faith without certain key elements. Spiritual growth results from trusting Jesus Christ with every detail of your life.
It must start by getting to know Jesus, because you can't trust someone you don't know. Praying is talking with God.
Talk to Him as a Friend.

G – Go to God in prayer daily (John 15: 7)
R – Read God's Word daily (Acts 17: 11) – begin with the gospel of John
O – Obey God moment by moment (John 14: 21)
W – Witness for Christ by your life and word (Matthew 4: 19 & John 15:8)
T – Trust God with every detail of your life (1 Peter 5: 7)
H – Holy Spirit – Allow Him to control and empower your daily life and witness . . . (Galatians 5: 16-17; Acts 1:8)

We have many difficulties, but God comforts us when we put Him first in our lives.
The First Commandment is to love God with all your heart and strength and mind. Hebrews 12: 2 says to keep your eyes on Jesus.
He promised to be with us always. We can do nothing without the Vine/branch relationship (John 15: 5-15).
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks (Philippians 4: 4-8).
Trust God always to give wisdom and strength to live each moment for Him.
I pray that as you seek and praise God, you will feel His presence.
Trust Him to make you more like Jesus day by day.
God bless you with peace and give you hope.

tHe fRiendsHip Page __+Just fRiends__++

I've learned that there are many good friends around, but true best friends are hard to come by.
I've learned that sometimes you love a best friend more than a boyfriend.
I've learned that a best friend is more important than a boyfriend.
I've learned that you can do something or nothing with a best friend and still have the best time.
I've learned that a true friendship has many memories, both good and bad, but all important.
I've learned that sometimes the most used part of a best friend is the shoulder you cry on, and the shoulder you are willing to lend.
I've learned that when a best friend is happy, you find yourself happy too, even when it has nothing to do with you.
I've learned that a best friend's family soon feels like your own.
I've learned that the only one who truly understands is a true friend.
I've learned that nothing ever sounds stupid, funny, or unbelievable to a best friend, and you never feel stupid saying whatever it is.
I've learned that sometimes it feels like a best friend is the only one who will ever care about you and think you are beautiful in your own way.
I've learned that you always have that something extra to give to a best friend in need, and can count on that in return.
I've learned that your heart is forever touched by a true friend, no matter how things end up.
I've learned that when your heart has been broken, a best friend is the best band-aid for it.
I've learned that a best friend will call you in the middle of the night to talk without thinking, and it's OK.
I've learned that in many cases, a hug and a kind word from a best friend is the only thing that helps get you through the day.
I've learned that a best friend would stick up for you no matter what the consequences are.
I've learned that best friends can sing at the top of their lungs and not worry about singing the wrong words or being out of tune.
I've learned that best friends stay up all night and on the phone for hours talking without even realizing it.
I've learned that a best friend can tell the difference between a silly crush, and more than that.
I've learned that sometimes a best friend is all you have.
I've learned that sometimes you wonder how she knew, but then you realize that's just how close you are.
I've learned that when you are true best friends, everyone else knows it.
I've learned that, most importantly of all, best friends will always be best friends, no matter what is happening in their lives, where they are, or what they are doing. A best friend is irreplaceable. This is the most important thing I could have ever been taught by a best friend.
